Questions
What counts as a “scan”?
Each URL you scan counts as one scan. If you scan the same URL multiple times, each scan counts separately. Multi-page scans count each page as a separate scan against your monthly limit.
Which AI models are included?
Every plan, including Starter, uses Claude, Anthropic's AI model, to review your pages. Your plan covers the cost of included scans. On Hobby, Pro and Team you can also add your own OpenRouter API key to use frontier models from OpenAI, Google and xAI, billed by OpenRouter.
What is BYOK?
BYOK (bring your own key) lets Hobby, Pro and Team plans add an OpenRouter API key in Settings. With a key you can run scans on models from OpenAI, Google and xAI, including after your included scans run out. OpenRouter bills you directly for those scans, and they don't count against your plan. Rate limits still apply. Your key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and never logged.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Unused scans don't roll over between months.
What happens if I exceed my scan limit?
Settings shows how many scans you have used. Once you reach the limit, Hobby, Pro and Team users can keep scanning with other models on their own OpenRouter key (BYOK). Claude scans resume when your allowance resets. Starter users can upgrade to a paid plan.
How is my API key protected when using BYOK?
Your API key is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. It's only decrypted momentarily when making API requests on your behalf and is never logged or stored in plaintext.
Do you offer annual billing discounts?
We currently only offer monthly billing. We may introduce annual plans in the future based on customer feedback.
