We want you to be completely satisfied with AccessHawk. If our service doesn't meet your expectations, we offer a straightforward refund process. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund.

Subscription Refunds

AccessHawk offers subscription plans billed on a recurring basis. Our refund policy for subscriptions is as follows:

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

New subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of their initial subscription purchase. If you're not satisfied with AccessHawk during this period, simply contact us for a complete refund—no questions asked.

After the 14-Day Period

  • Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
  • We may issue partial refunds for unused subscription time in exceptional circumstances
  • Technical issues that prevent you from using the service may qualify for a refund
  • Refunds are generally not provided for subscription renewals—please cancel before your renewal date

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us via our Contact page and select "Billing/Subscription" as your inquiry type
  2. Include your account email and the date of your subscription purchase
  3. Briefly explain why you're requesting a refund (optional but helpful)

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment method and financial institution.

Note: All payments and refunds are processed by Polar Software, Inc., our Merchant of Record. Refunds will appear on your statement as coming from Polar, matching how the original charge appeared.

Subscription Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's what happens when you cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • You can continue using AccessHawk features until your subscription expires
  • Your scan history and project data remain accessible

Important:

Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. If you'd like a refund, please follow the refund request process outlined above.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription renewals where cancellation was not requested before the renewal date
  • Partial months of service (we do not provide prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations)
  • Accounts terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service
  • Promotional or discounted subscriptions, except where required by law

BYOK Overflow & Third-Party API Costs

Paid subscribers can use the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) Overflow feature to continue scanning after exhausting included monthly scans. If you use your own OpenRouter API key:

  • API usage charges billed to your OpenRouter account are not refundable by AccessHawk
  • These charges are governed by OpenRouter's billing policies
  • For API-related refunds, please contact OpenRouter directly

AccessHawk is not responsible for any third-party charges incurred through your use of external API keys.

Payment Disputes

Before filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank or credit card company, please contact us first. We're committed to resolving issues quickly and fairly.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Any refund requests submitted before changes take effect will be processed under the policy in place at the time of the original purchase.
